This London, Ontario riding has recently gone Conservative, in part due to vote splitting between non-Conservative parties. In 2008, the Conservatives won the seat from the Liberals with 39% of votes. In 2011, they won with 44%. In 2008, the Liberals and NDP combined had 50% of the vote, and in 2011, they had 53%. The incumbent, Conservative MP Ed Holder is seeking re-election in October.
