Markham—Stouffville
Riding Overview
A new riding made up mostly from the Oak Ridges—Markham riding and a small part of the Markham—Unionville riding. According to 2011 elections results, 50% of voters would have supported the Conservatives in this new riding. Conservative Paul Calandra, who is currently the MP for Oak Ridges—Markham, is infamous for providing non-answers on Stephen Harper's behalf when asked about the Senate expenses scandals. Calandra is running for this seat in October.
