Riding Overview

This riding was held by the Liberals, with consecutive majority votes under MP John Cannis, from 1993 until 2011. The Liberals lost the seat in one of the bigger upsets of the 2011 election when Conservative candidate Roxanne James won the seat with 35.5% of the vote. James is seeking re-election in October.
