Riding Overview
A swing riding, Louis-Hébert has been held by four different parties in the last 15 years, from the Liberals in 2000, to the Bloc Québécois in 2004, to the Conservatives in 2006, back to the Bloc Québécois in 2008, and finally to the NDP in 2011. The NDP incumbent, MP Denis Blanchette, is seeking re-election in October.
