Riding Overview
The Conservatives won this Toronto riding by just 1% in 2011. The Liberals had held the seat since 1993, but came up shy in 2011 with 42% of the vote while the Conservative candidate John Carmichael topped that with 43%. The NDP received 12% and the Greens 3%.
