A new riding in the southern Ontario city of Brampton made up of parts of the Brampton—Springdale, Bramalea—Gore—Malton ridings, as well as a small part of Mississauga—Brampton South. The first two ridings are currently held by Conservatives, while the third is held by a Liberal. Based on 2011 election results, 46% of the vote in this new riding would have gone to the Conservatives. Bal Gosal, who is currently the Conservative MP for Bramalea—Gore—Malton, is running for this riding in October.
