Beaches—East York
Riding Overview
Historically, Beaches—East York, which covers two large neighbourhoods in Toronto's southeast end, has been a Liberal–NDP swing riding. Since its creation in 1988, Conservative candidates haven't come close to winning the riding. The Liberal party held the seat for almost 20 years between 1993 and 2011, when the current incumbent, NDP MP Matthew Kellaway, won the seat.
