Riding Overview
West Nova, which includes a large part of western Nova Scotia, has been a Conservative–Liberal swing riding for decades. In 2011, Conservative MP Greg Kerr again secured the seat, this time by more than 10% of the vote. Kerr has announced he will not be running in October, so there is no incumbent in this race.
