Historically, Yukon has seen two-way races between the Liberals and the Conservatives, although the NDP held the riding from 1987 to 2000. After that, Liberal Larry Bagnell held the riding until 2011, when he was defeated by Conservative MP Ryan Leef by just 132 votes. Both Bagnell and Leef are running again in October.
