Since the 2011 election the riding boundaries have been redrawn and 30 new ridings have been added. The graph above shows past results mapped onto these boundaries. This may make the results look strange.

Riding Overview

The boundaries of this riding have been re-drawn for 2015, with the riding now covering about 80% of its former area. Historically, this has been a Conservative–Liberal swing riding, with Conservative MP John Weston holding the riding since 2008. However, in 2011, the Liberals and the NDP each took over 20% of the vote, with the Green Party taking an additional 7%. Weston is running for re-election in October.
