Burnaby North—Seymour
Riding Overview
A new riding made up of parts of the former ridings of Burnaby—Douglas and North Vancouver. Burnaby—Douglas has been held by the NDP since the riding was created in 2000, but support for the Conservatives has grown in recent elections. The Liberals have traditionally performed strongly in North Vancouver, with the Conservatives only winning the riding in 2008 due to a split vote across the Liberals, NDP and Green Party. There are no sitting MPs running in this new riding in October.
