Riding Overview

A new riding created from parts of Calgary Southeast, Calgary Southwest and Macleod, all of which are currently held by the Conservatives, who have swept the area with 70% majorities in the past few elections. Jason Kenney, Minister of National Defence and Minister for Multiculturalism, has held Calgary Southeast since 1997. Kenney was acclaimed as the Conservative candidate for Calgary Midnapore.
