Riding Overview

Historically a Liberal–Conservative swing riding, Winnipeg South Centre is currently held by the Conservatives. In 2011, Conservative MP Joyce Bateman defeated Liberal incumbent, Anita Neville, by only 722 votes. Bateman is seeking re-election in October.
