Riding Overview

A traditionally safe non-Conservative riding, this urban Nova Scotia riding has swung between the NDP and the Liberals since 1988. In 2011, the NDP and the Liberals combined took over 70% of the vote. The Conservatives normally take 20%-25% of the vote. NDP incumbent, MP Robert Chisolm, is seeking re-election in October.
