Riding Overview

A new riding in central Labrador made up mostly (72%) of the Bonavista—Gander—Grand Falls—Windsor riding, which has been held by incumbent Liberal MP Scott Simms since 2004. Based on projecting previous election results onto the new riding, the Liberals have a strong margin, although the Liberals and Conservatives were neck-and-neck in 2006.
