ICYMI: 31 local polls

Thanks to you, last week Leadnow released the results of 31 riding level polls.

Almost 2000 people from the Leadnow community stepped up with generous support to make this important research possible. Because of your donations, we were able to run our biggest round of polling yet: 31 ridings from coast to coast to coast -- that third coast is for real, we even did a poll in the Yukon!

The results of these polls in Conservative swing ridings show that a majority of people in each one of these ridings want change. But in many ridings Harper could still win because of local vote splitting caused by our broken “first-past-the-post” voting system.

If you missed it on Wednesday night, you can watch our special briefing on the polling results below.

You can also click here to see the detailed results in all 31 ridings.

Here at Leadnow, these polls really reinforced to us why this campaign is so important. National and riding level polls point out that Canadians want change, with the overwhelming majority of the country supporting the NDP, Liberals and the Greens. However, our broken voting system could ensure that the Conservatives are returned to power for another four years.

If this makes you angry, we don’t blame you.

But you know what to do. As a volunteer on the Vote Together campaign you have already stepped up, some over you over many months, to ensure vote splitting doesn’t re-elect Harper.

Visit your riding page to sign up for canvassing and phoning shifts that will help us have the biggest impact possible in the final stretch of the Vote Together campaign.

Thanks for all that you do. We couldn’t do this without you.
