Riding Overview
This northern Ontario riding, which includes the Ring of Fire mineral deposits, has traditionally been safely non-Conservative. In 2011, however, the Conservatives took 32% of the vote, which, while significant, was not enough to challenge NDP incumbent Charlie Angus, who secured 50% of the vote. Angus is running again in October.
