Riding Overview

A new riding in a traditionally safe non-Conservative area that includes parts of the Trinity—Spadina and Toronto Centre ridings. In the 2014 by-election for Trinity—Spadina, when NDP MP Olivia Chow resigned to run for mayor of Toronto, former city councillor Adam Vaughan won the seat for the Liberals. Both Vaughan and Chow are running for this new seat in October.
