Riding Overview

This riding has been held by the Conservatives since 2004. There have been some close races since then, although the Conservatives managed to secure 51% of the vote in 2011. Since losing the seat in 2004, Liberal support has declined, NDP support has increased slightly, and the Conservatives have steadily picked up more votes. The incumbent, Conservative MP Colin Carrie, is seeking re-election in October.
