Nipissing—Timiskaming
Riding Overview
This riding has recently seen two-way races between the Conservatives and the Liberals. In 2011, it was taken by the Conservatives by less than 20 votes. In that election, the Conservatives received 36.7% of the vote, the Liberals 36.6%, and the NDP 21%. The incumbent, Conservative MP Jay Aspin, and the 2011 Liberal candidate, Anthony Rota, are both again running in October.
