Flamborough—Glanbrook
Riding Overview
A new riding in southern Ontario made up mostly from parts of the Ancaster—Dundas—Flamborough—Westdale and Niagara West—Glanbrook ridings, both of which have been held by Conservatives for the last few elections. The new riding will also incorporate a small part of Hamilton Mountain, which has been held by the NDP since 2006. According to 2011 election results, the Conservatives would have received over 50% of the vote in this new riding. David Sweet, currently the Conservative MP for Ancaster—Dundas—Flamborough—Westdale, is running for this new seat in October.
