Etobicoke North
Riding Overview
Traditionally a safe non-Conservative riding in Toronto, the Liberals have held Etobicoke North since the 1980s. However, the Conservatives have been gaining ground, securing 32% of the vote in 2011. The NDP also increased its share of the vote in 2011, up to 24%, a level not seen since 1979. The incumbent, Liberal MP Kristy Duncan, who took 42% of the 2011 vote, is running for re-election in October.
