Brantford—Brant
Riding Overview
Located in southern Ontario, Brant has been Conservative since 2008 and is something of a swing riding. Liberal support decreased from 56% in 2000 to 33% in 2008, and to 19% in 2011. The Conservatives secured 49% of the vote in 2011, and the NDP was second with 28%. The incumbent, Conservative MP Phil McColeman, is seeking re-election in October.
