Riding Overview

A new riding in central Ontario made up of three existing electoral districts: Barrie, Simcoe—Grey, and Simcoe North, all of which elected Conservatives in 2011. In the first half of the 2000s, the Liberals held all the three seats. According to 2011 votes, the Conservatives would have received 54% of the vote in this district.
