Riding Overview
A traditionally safe non-Conservative suburban and rural riding west of Montreal. The NDP won the seat from the Bloc Québécois in 2011. In 2008, the Conservatives secured 24% of the vote. The incumbent, NDP MP Jamie Nicholls, is seeking re-election in October.
