Riding Overview
This rural riding in Quebec has generally been safe from the Conservatives, although they secured 33% of the vote in 2006. The Bloc Québécois held the riding until 2011, when the NDP candidate Lise St-Denis took the seat. However, in 2012, St-Denis crossed the floor to join the Liberal Party.
