Riding Overview
This riding southeast of Montreal has been safely non-Conservative since 1988, held by the Bloc Québécois from then until 2011, when the NDP took the seat. The strongest recent Conservative showing was in 2006, when they received 22% of the vote. The incumbent, NDP MP Tarik Brahmi, is not seeking re-election in October.
