Rivière-du-Nord
Riding Overview
A traditionally safe non-Conservative riding located in southwest Quebec, Rivière-du-Nord is currently held by NDP MP Pierre Dionne Labelle after a string of Bloc Québécois victories. In the 1980s, the area voted Progressive Conservative. The strongest recent Conservative showing was in 2006, when they received 21% of the vote.
