Richmond—Arthabaska
Riding Overview
Located in southern Quebec, Richmond—Arthabaska has had some close challenges in recent elections. It was Progressive Conservative from 1997-2004, when it went Bloc Québécois. The Conservatives received 32% of the vote in 2006 and 29% in 2008. Elected in 2011 as a Bloc Québécois candidate, André Bellavance now sits as an independent and does not appear to be seeking re-election.
