Riding Overview

A new riding made up of the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce—Lachine and Westmount—Ville-Marie ridings, both of which have been safely non-Conservative. Both ridings have traditionally been Liberal, though Notre-Dame-de-Grâce—Lachine was won by NDP candidate Isabelle Morin in 2011. The Conservatives have struggled to get near 20% support in either riding. Liberal MP Marc Garneau is running for the new seat in October.
