Riding Overview

A traditionally safe non-Conservative riding in the Lanaudière region northeast of Montreal. The strongest show of Conservative support recently was in the 2006 election, when they received nearly 20% of the vote. Manon Perreault currently holds the seat. Perreault was elected as an NDP candidate, but has sat as an independent since 2014, after she was charged with public mischief and expelled from the NDP caucus.
