Montarville
Riding Overview
A new riding made up of parts of the Saint-Bruno—Saint-Hubert, Verchères—Les Patriotes and Chambly—Borduas ridings. All three existing ridings have been traditionally non-Conservative. They were held by the Bloc Québécois from the 1990s until 2011, when all three elected NDP candidates. In 2006, the Conservatives had about 20% support in all three ridings. Djaouida Sellah, the current NDP MP for Saint-Bruno—Saint-Hubert, is running for the Montarville seat in October.
