A new riding, Lac-Saint-Jean is made up of the former ridings of Roberval—Lac-Saint-Jean and Jonquière—Alma. If this riding had existed in 2011, the Conservatives would have won the seat, with the remaining votes split between the NDP and the Bloc Québécois. The incumbent for Roberval—Lac-Saint-Jean, Conservative MP Denis Lebel, is seeking re-election in October.
