Riding Overview
A traditionally safe non-Conservative riding northeast of Montreal, Joliette was held by the Bloc Québécois from 1993 to 2011, when NDP candidate Francine Raynault took the seat. The Conservatives won less than 10% of votes in 2011, 18% in 2008, and 27% in 2006.
