Riding Overview

A new riding in the area south and west of Montreal, made up of parts of the Beauharnois and Chateauguay—Saint Constant ridings, both of which went NDP in 2011 after having been Bloc Québécois. The Conservatives rarely get more than 25% of the vote in either riding. NDP MP Sylvain Chicoine, of Chateauguay—Saint Constant, is running in this riding in October.
