Brome—Missisquoi
Riding Overview
This southern Quebec riding is traditionally non-Conservative. It was a swing riding between the Bloc Québécois and the Liberals, but it went NDP in 2011 with over 40% of the vote. The current NDP MP will not be running, to be replaced by Catherine Lusson, who worked for an NDP candidate in a nearby riding. Denis Paradis, who was the Liberal MP in this riding from 1995-2006 is seeking re-election in October.
