Riding Overview
A new riding east of Montreal that includes parts of the existing Chambly—Borduas riding, which has traditionally been non-Conservative. Held by the Bloc Québécois from 1993 until 2011, and by the NDP from 1990-1993, the NDP was voted in again in 2011 by a wide margin. The Conservative candidate took 7% of the vote.
