Riding Overview
A traditionally safe non-Conservative riding held by the Bloc Québécois since 1990. The NDP came close to taking the seat in 2011, with the Conservatives trailing with less than 15% of the vote. The incumbent, Bloc Québécois MP Loius Plamondon, has acted as leader of his party.
