Riding Overview

A new riding on the west coast of Newfoundland made up of parts of two existing ridings. It is a safe traditionally non-Conservative area, with Liberal candidates regularly taking more than 50% of the vote. However, the Conservatives have taken significant amounts of the vote in the past, and the NDP has picked up some ground in recent elections.
